A dog that knows what he wants.

On Saturday afternoon, my mom and dad came by for lunch. I made an AWESOME dish of shrimp alfredo pasta. Pity I didn't take a picture, as it was delicious!

Max came along too... It didn't take long for his cocker spaniel nose to spot the cookie decorations. That dog is amazing. He could smell food a million miles away. So here he's thinking about strategy....

Making eye contact with the target, and...

He goes for it!

We shoved him away before he could take a good bite of it... But, in true Max fashion, I'm sure he is now lying on a couch, dreaming of his next opportunity.. hoping that we'll be distracted enough to not notice one missing decoration.
